Unity Tutorial 6

 Hi Everyone!

Today I completed Unity tutorial task for week 7.For this week we had to complete the game we started last week and also challenge 3 in which we had to practice and use all the knoladge that we have learned during the process of creating a game.This weeks Unity was very interesting because I learned a lot of new things.I learned how to add effects like explosion and dirt to the character and also how to add music to the game which I found very helpful and I'm sure those little things will help me to create my own game and make it enjoyable for the player.In the challenge we had to make the balloon fly and collect money along the way there was a lot of work with code but some how I got it working.When it comes to fixing a code in the game it is very challenging but at the same time you learn a lot from it which In future will help with the game creation and gaming skills in general.Overall this weeks tutorial went great I didn't have any problems with the code and I'm slowly starting to understand code more and more and I am looking forward to make my game and experiment with the code and Unity feature in more depth.

Game Design Document

 In my Game Design Document I mention and clearly explained what I will exactly do in my game and what is going to be involved in it and also all the process that I will implement in the game.So to start with  I decided to create a power point presentation in which I have broken all the process into stages that the game will be created and how the game should look like. I started with a the name of my game which I have finally created the name of my game would be " Ghost Runner" Then I made a summary section were I briefly explained what the game is going to be about. "Game Design"

 Today I read an article about games and what they are and what is involved in creating a game. I read a paper called "What is a Game Anyway" by Ian Schreiber which I found very interesting because he explains about games and that they are very similar to each other every game has a story, goals ,rules and different outcomes.Before reading this article I had a very little idea  how ill be creating my own game but as Schreiber said "Choose your own adventure book" which means create your own story and make it as confusing as you want and  be yourself , be creative even at the end of his article he says grab a pen and lets create a game which also shows us that we should overcome our fears and just be creative and try our best I don't be afraid to create a game just because you never did it before I think that was a great example which involved a person to try  make a game with a pen on the paper and overcome the fear of something that is impossible to create Link...
