Planning

 The topic I have picked for my reading task is Adventure games and what they are!I though that this would be an interesting topic to explore and talk about in more details.I found few interesting websites that are talking about Game Adventures and really we'll explain what they are.Today I learned more about ITB Library and how to use it for my own benefit were ill be able to find books and different varieties of assays based on one or more topics.I thinks this will be very helpful in terms of finding academical papers.Another think the was shown to us during the lecture by one of the library staff which was RefWorks.Its a place were we can save and reference our work in order to come back and look over the stuff that we have been looking at before.My search strategy for the proposed book is too use library, also Ref Work were ill be saving the material that I have found and the ones ill be using in creation of my book based on the Adventure games.I am looking forward to explore and find all the hidden and interesting things about Game Adventures to make my book as informative as possible.

Game Design Document

 In my Game Design Document I mention and clearly explained what I will exactly do in my game and what is going to be involved in it and also all the process that I will implement in the game.So to start with  I decided to create a power point presentation in which I have broken all the process into stages that the game will be created and how the game should look like. I started with a the name of my game which I have finally created the name of my game would be " Ghost Runner" Then I made a summary section were I briefly explained what the game is going to be about.  Today I read an article about games and what they are and what is involved in creating a game. I read a paper called "What is a Game Anyway" by Ian Schreiber which I found very interesting because he explains about games and that they are very similar to each other every game has a story, goals ,rules and different outcomes.Before reading this article I had a very little idea  how ill be creating my own game but as Schreiber said "Choose your own adventure book" which means create your own story and make it as confusing as you want and  be yourself , be creative even at the end of his article he says grab a pen and lets create a game which also shows us that we should overcome our fears and just be creative and try our best I don't be afraid to create a game just because you never did it before I think that was a great example which involved a person to try  make a game with a pen on the paper and overcome the fear of something that is impossible to create Link...
