Unity Tutorial 9

 Today I have completed another Unity tutorial. This tutorial was very interesting and in this tutorial I learned how to create a score and a button.There was three lessons overall and they went easy enough I didn't have any major problems with them.Also the fact that I have learned how to create a score would be very helpful because I was thinking to implement that into my own game.Another think that I had learned was a restart button in the game and how to get it working and disappear when the game starts and appear when the game is over.I also learned how to add text to the game that displays on your game screen.Overall I thought that this weeks tutorial was really interesting I I have definitely learned few new things and developed my gaming and coding skills.I am looking forward to try some of the code I had e learned in my own game.

Game Design Document

 In my Game Design Document I mention and clearly explained what I will exactly do in my game and what is going to be involved in it and also all the process that I will implement in the game.So to start with  I decided to create a power point presentation in which I have broken all the process into stages that the game will be created and how the game should look like. I started with a the name of my game which I have finally created the name of my game would be " Ghost Runner" Then I made a summary section were I briefly explained what the game is going to be about.  Today I read an article about games and what they are and what is involved in creating a game. I read a paper called "What is a Game Anyway" by Ian Schreiber which I found very interesting because he explains about games and that they are very similar to each other every game has a story, goals ,rules and different outcomes.Before reading this article I had a very little idea  how ill be creating my own game but as Schreiber said "Choose your own adventure book" which means create your own story and make it as confusing as you want and  be yourself , be creative even at the end of his article he says grab a pen and lets create a game which also shows us that we should overcome our fears and just be creative and try our best I don't be afraid to create a game just because you never did it before I think that was a great example which involved a person to try  make a game with a pen on the paper and overcome the fear of something that is impossible to create Link...
