Week 9 Reading and Writing

 Hi Everyone!

This is week 9 of me doing reading tasks there has been a lot of work done and a lot of articles read during those 8 weeks of work on my blog.In the reading tasks we were looking at things like Game Design,Game Elements,Games GDD and also Game Fun and a lot more I personally found really interesting writing and working on the reading tasks I learned a lot of information from them which helped me with my knowledge about games and little things that are involved into creating games.One of my favourite readings are Game Fun and Game Elements I like this the most because I learned a lot about game elements that should be included In the game and also what needs to be used in the game to make it as interesting as possible.Alos Game Fun because it gave me a better understanding of what a game fun is and how I can make my game interesting and enjoyable for the player.This little things I think were really helpful in terms of giving us better understanding of what we are doing and how the game we want should be created.I am personally really happy with my game project and how it looks so far.I also enjoy working on my game project developing it and adding new things to it.In the following weeks I'm sure reading tasks would as interesting and motivative as usual.In the next few weeks I am planning to continue working on my game and make it as good as I possibly can with all my knowledge about gaming in the next few weeks that we have.Overall I think reading tasks were really helpful and handy to start the week and get us thinking and working on each step of our game also developing our gaming skills and writing skills.

Game Design Document

 In my Game Design Document I mention and clearly explained what I will exactly do in my game and what is going to be involved in it and also all the process that I will implement in the game.So to start with  I decided to create a power point presentation in which I have broken all the process into stages that the game will be created and how the game should look like. I started with a the name of my game which I have finally created the name of my game would be " Ghost Runner" Then I made a summary section were I briefly explained what the game is going to be about. "Game Design"

 Today I read an article about games and what they are and what is involved in creating a game. I read a paper called "What is a Game Anyway" by Ian Schreiber which I found very interesting because he explains about games and that they are very similar to each other every game has a story, goals ,rules and different outcomes.Before reading this article I had a very little idea  how ill be creating my own game but as Schreiber said "Choose your own adventure book" which means create your own story and make it as confusing as you want and  be yourself , be creative even at the end of his article he says grab a pen and lets create a game which also shows us that we should overcome our fears and just be creative and try our best I don't be afraid to create a game just because you never did it before I think that was a great example which involved a person to try  make a game with a pen on the paper and overcome the fear of something that is impossible to create Link...
