Hi Everyone !
So this week I have continued working on my own game last week I added assets created a background and done a lot of work on the code. This week I changed the speed of my background because I din't like the way it looked when I was playing a game so I decided to make it work a little smother.I also added little objects that my player would be collecting throughout the game and a bomb which explodes when player flies on it which I think looks very cool.At this moment I feel that my game is playable and has some challenge for the player but I think there is still something missing which I'm going to try fixing next week. But overall I am really happy with the way everything is going and how the game looks now.Actually in terms of difficulties that I have faced this week was that I didn't save my game last week and I've lost few things that I worked on last week so I had to start everything all over again but it was a good lesson for me now when I add something or when I make changes to the game I am saving it all the time now.Im am looking forward to continue working on my game and get it to the point when I'm satisfied with it.
Hey Roman, great blog post. Your game seems great, and fairly difficult to make overall. I think it's a great thing that you are actually happy with your game, at this point a lot of people are probably stressing because their game ideas were very difficult to create within the time frame we had, so it's great that from the beginning you didn't get to ahead of yourself in the idea phase of the project. Adding animation and obstacles to your game feels great when they work after coding it for ages, the exploding bombs were a great idea, fair play. I your still looking for assets you should just go through the tutorial folders you've downloaded from doing the work each week, it would free time up from looking online. Good luck with the final touches!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Roman,
ReplyDeleteYour game looks great so far! I like that you decided to make a simple yet very entertaining game. Your game kind of reminds me of “jetpack joyride” which is one of my favourite mobile games. I’m glad that you’re happy with your game and I can see that you’ve gotten a lot accomplished. I also had to redo my game, my unity crashed and I had to rebuild everything :( but thank god you only had to re-do a few things. My tip for you is to save a copy of your game incase your unity crashes. All in all, your game looks great. Good luck with your development!

Hi roman, your game looks great! I like the idea of the game flying in the sky trying to avoid objects. Are the objects going to be going at different paces up and down? You have gotten a lot done so far which is good as you will have less to do later. If your finding it hard to find assets you should go to the unity website this is where I found most of mine however you may have to see if they are free or not. I also like how you included the arrows and the box's around the objects that you are talking about to make it easier to understand. Best of luck with your game hope it works out for you - niamh
